This review will mainly discuss Glowy, but I will be talking about the Vampire collection in an upcoming review, so stay tuned for that!

I've mentioned the Cherry Moon series in some of my other posts, but I'll also be talking about them as a comparison to Glowy.

As always, still till the end to find out my favorite! ♡

Eyelighter Glowy — Introduction

Before After

First up is Glowy Black!

I love this color because, despite the name, Glowy Black isn't just a pure black. The design includes shades of rich gold and gentle gray on a soft black base.

Eyelighter Glowy's graphic design includes a gradient and edge line that creates a more multi-dimensional look to your eyes. The color is comprised of blending multiple shades together, resulting in a highlight effect on your eyes.

The Glowy lenses are 13.3 mm in diameter, which enhances your irises and enlarges your eyes.

The color and graphic pattern is very natural, making them perfect for everyday wear.

Every time I wore these contacts, my close friends told me they love my eyes, and wasn't even sure if I was wearing contacts!

I love Olens lenses, because all of the ones I've tried are bright and pigmented even on my dark eyes.

I was a little bit worried about the visibility of the Glowy collection, since the colors look so similar to my natural eye color. However, my friends noticed that my eyes looked brighter and more prominent, without immediately being able to tell it was because I was wearing contact lenses.

Next, we have Eyelighter Glowy Brown.

Glowy Brown also fades from dark to light, creating a highlight effect on the the eyes.

Its design consists of a milk brown highlight on a natural brown base—a warmer and lighter tone than its Glowy Black counterpart.

Compared to Cherry Moon Brown, Glowy Brown has more contrast between the dark and light browns used in its edge line and highlight portion, respectively. Cherry Moon is also generally lighter and warmer in tone.

Cherry Moon Brown is also different in design. The Cherry Moon collection gets its name from the "new moon" design that acts as a highlight.

If you're deciding between Glowy Brown and Cherry Moon Brown, I would pay attention to the color, tone, and pattern. They're both similar in graphic diameter (Glowy is 13.1mm while Cherry Moon is 13.2mm), and they both have the eye-enlarging effect that comes from having an edge line.

Finally, we have Eyelighter Glowy Ash Gray!

These lenses are comprised of a mesmerizing olive highlight shade on an ash gray base.

It's the most cool-toned of the lenses in this collection.

While Glowy Ash Gray and Cherry Moon Gray are both categorized as "gray," they're actually very different in hue.

Glowy Ash Gray is more of an olive-gray tone, while Cherry Moon Gray is closer to a purple-ish gray.

Eyelighter Glowy contacts are pretty subtle, but you can definitely still tell the difference. Here is a side-by-side comparison of Ash Gray and Black for reference:

Final thoughts:

I don't usually gravitate towards darker contacts—I've mentioned in previous blog posts that my go-to colors are usually light gray, pink, or blue.

However, I wore Glowy for the full month, because I loved the subtle shine and enlarging effect it had on my eyes. I wore them to school and work for a natural look.

My favorite is probably Glowy Black. These lenses really make your eyes stand out, even if you have naturally darker irises.

Which one if your favorite?
